Hi Nukers! After a hard work that I describe as detective job, PHP-Nuke 7.6 has been released and the version 7.5 is available for free in the downloads section as usual. As you see, there isn't any change in the distribution model of the software, it remains as it's now. Ok, this new version has a detective's job on it because now you can rename the file admin.php to improve security, obviously this change required lot of files modifications... all call to admin.php which are tons! but it's done thanks to many suggestions.
There are also several bugs fixed, some extra security checks, more variables validation, etc.
A new nice feature that I know all you'll enjoy is the complete support of Mozilla FireFox browser. It's now counted in the statistics and additionaly any PHP-Nuke site will be compatible with the Live Bookmark feature that grabs the RSS content of backend.php file.
Special thanks goes to chatserv of nukeresources.com who has been of great help as usual by digging and fixing stuff and all of you that in one manner or another helps with ideas, code, suggestions, fixes, etc. See the changelog.txt for credits details.
Now, some days of rest and next week I'll start to work on the next version which will be focused in new features since the code is now pretty secured. The big work on the next version will be the new banners/advertising system. I pretend to re-write it in order to create a more flexible system with lot of features customizable by the admin or your customers (as you wish). This system should have support for Google Adsense, Fastclick, Flash content, Javascript content, text/html content, graphics, etc. I just know that I want to come up with a very complete ads solution so you can be more productive on your site.

Hallo Nuker!
Nach harter Arbeit die ich mal Detektivarbeit bezeichnen will, ist PHP-Nuke 7.6 erschienen und die Version 7.5 damit wie gewöhnlich frei zum Download verfügbar.
Wie ihr seht gibt es keine Änderung im Freigabemodell, es bleibt wie es ist. Ok, die neue Version war eine Detektivarbeit, weil sie nun erlaubt die Datei admin.php beliebig umzubenennen und diese Neuerung verständlicherweise eine Menge Dateiänderungen mit sich zog... alle Aufrufe der admin.php und davon gibt es tonnenweise! Aber dies wurde auf vielfachen Hinweis hin realisiert..
Es gibt ausserdem einige Fehlerkorrekturen, einige zusätzliche Sicherheitsprüfungen, mehr Variablenprüfungen, etc.
Ein weiteres nettes Merkmal das sicher allen gefallen wird, ist die komplette Unterstützung des Mozilla Firefox Browsers. Er wird nun in den Statistiken erfasst und erlaubt die Einbindung der backend.php über die Live Bookmark Funktion.

Nun gönne ich mir ein paar Tage Ruhe und setze mich nächste Woche an die nächste Version, die mehr auf neue Funktionen ausgerichtet sein wird, da der Code jetzt so ziemlich abgesichert sein dürfte. Der Grossteil der Arbeit an der neuen Version wird das neue Banner-/Anzeigen-System sein. Ich gebe vor ein flexibleres System mit vielen Einstellungsmöglichkeiten für den Administrator oder seine Kunden (je nach Wunsch) zu schaffen. Dieses System soll Google Adsense, Fastclick, Flash content, Javascript Inhalte, Text/HTML Inhalte, Grafiken u.m. unterstützen. Ich weiss bisher nur, das ich ein möglichst komplettes Anzeigensystem schreiben möchte, das Euch hilft ein produktivere Seite zu führen..
Jedenfalls veröffentliche ich Aktuelles soweit dies voranschreitet. Für jetzt hoffe ich habt Ihr Spass an dieser neuen Version.
